Shana Tova!

Dear Parents,

This week, we learned about the topic of Rosh Hashana.  We talked about special foods and items related to the holiday and their connections to Rosh Hashana.  We learned about: pomegranates, the head of a fish, round challaot, Rosh Hashana cards, Machzor, apples, honey and more.

We learned that another name for Rosh Hashana is "Yom Teruah".

Every child wrote his and her own special personal tefilah for Rosh Hashana, in preparation for the new year.

Please check you mailboxes- the children prepared a surprise for you.
